St. Joseph’s Health is seeking a licensed and certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with experience in Neonatology to join our dedicated team in Syracuse, NY. This opportunity offers a consistent 36-hour workweek in a level III NICU – 14 bed unit, providing a balanced schedule with a mix of day and night rotations. Opportunity Highlights:
- Provide direct care including history and physical exams, daily rounds, ordering medications and labs, discharge planning, and patient/family education.
- Schedule includes a mix of day and night rotations.
- Perform the following procedures:
- Intubations
- Chest Tubes
- Umbilical line placements
- Vent Management
Requirements:
- Current NYS license
- Candidates must have at least 2 years experience working in a NICU
- Graduate of accredited NP or PA program
- Board certification or active pursuit within one year
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $140,000-$160,000
- The posted salary reflects the starting and max range of total compensation and does not include call shift stipends, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
- $5,000 starting bonus.
