PA/NP, RNFA-Operative-Vascular Surgery
St. Joseph’s Health is currently seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a busy, high-acuity vascular surgery service that will expose you to a highly specialized patient population while also including direct medical management of the hospitalized patient. Responsibilities:
- Manage pre and postoperative care of the hospitalized patient including performing rounds, conducting physical exams, ordering and interpreting appropriate tests, admission history and physicals
- Collaborate with and work at direction of attending physicians to form plans of care and manage hospitalized patients
- First assist in the operating room with all vascular surgery cases
- Inpatient only, no clinic
Qualifications:
- NYS licensed PA or NP (RNFA), DEA certified/eligible
- Strong surgical and inpatient experience preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply
- Will train the right new graduate through our resident program with a comprehensive and supportive orientation process
- NP applicants must already possess their RNFA certification
Compensation package:
- Operative: Base Salary $102,600-$182,699.95
- Non-Operative: Base Salary $94,500-$138,600
- The posted salary reflects the starting and max range of total compensation and does not include call shift stipends, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
- $5,000 starting bonus.
