Physician – Family Medicine – Outpatient with OB experience

St. Joseph’s Health is seeking a Board-Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician- with OB experience to join their established outpatient practice at 321 Gifford St., Syracuse, NY 13204.

You’ll be joining a well-staffed and collaborative team that provides care for patients of all ages, including pediatrics, adult, and geriatric care, as well as women’s health services. This clinic has both Family Medicine and Pediatrics on-site and has a strong need for OB experience—making this an ideal opportunity for a primary care doctor interested in providing obstetrics care.  Our practice environment is patient-focused, backed by strong system resources and robust ancillary support.

Practice Overview:

  • Comprehensive care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
  • Treatment for acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic medical conditions
  • Preventive care, including immunizations and cancer screenings
  • Women’s health services, such as annual pelvic exams, pap smears, and obstetrics
  • A supportive, team-based clinical environment

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Office hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (No weekends or holidays)
  • One 10:30 AM–6:30 PM shift approximately every 8 weeks, depending on provider coverage
  • Shared call rotation

REQUIREMENTS:           

  • NYS medical licensure and DEA certification
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
  • Obstetrics experience strongly preferred
  • Open to both experienced physicians and new graduates

RECRUITMENT PACKAGE:

St. Joseph’s Health offers a competitive salary and a full range of benefits, including:

  • $225,000–$242,000 base salary
  • (The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.)
  • Starting Bonus: $50,000.00
  • Retention Bonus:
    • $25,000.00
